Platinum Coast Cat Fanciers Cat Show
July 19, 2008
This is a must attend event for cat lovers everywhere! July 19th from 9 am to 4pm at the Ft Myers Harborside Convention Hall is the place to be!
Multitudes of vendors will have every item you can imagine for purchase to please your pet feline. Cat breeds spanning the spectrum will be there to compete for the coveted blue ribbons in various categories.
ARC will have some of its finest there for adoptions as will other area shelters and rescue groups. Check back for developing information.

Training Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
July 20, 2008
ARC will be hosting the grand opening and dedication of the Gribble Canine Training Center at 1pm. Location of ceremony is 18011 Old Bayshore Rd in N Ft Myers.
Join us for canine demonstrations and a celebration of our "Center for Higher Education for K-9's". Offering an indoor environment in which to conduct behavioral modification and training has already resulted in record adoptions at ARC.

Chico's Private Fundraiser for ARC

Chico's in the Bell Tower Shops is hosting a private fundraiser for the benefit of ARC. On August 21st between the hours of 6pm and 9pm, 10% of all sales that take place will benefit the residents at ARC.
You are invited to take a look in your wardrobe closet and consider doing a design make-over. This might be your first time at Chico's or you might be a regular. Just don't miss out on this opportunity to do something nice for so many pets in need. Plus you get to do something nice for yourself so it's a win-win situation!

Buc Rileys Holiday Bash
December 7, 2008
Danielle Weiner, owner of Ben & Jerry's, is hosting a holiday party for the benefit of ARC and to launch us into the festive holiday season.
Location is center court at the Bonita Bay Promanaude in Bonita Springs. Start time is 2pm until 4pm. Well behaved pets are always welcomed and they will have the opportunity to sit on Santa's lap for a personalized photo.
Appetizers are once again provided by Roy's followed by ice cream and sorbet for the dogs courtesy of Ben & Jerry's.
Over forty raffle prizes from area businesses will be available to win!! So let's join the dog of honor, Buc Riley, (a most handsome Bulldog) and start the holidays off on the right "paw".
